PAPER CONSERVATOR
Heather​ Murphy is a qualified paper conservator living and working in London.
​
Graduating from Camberwell College of Arts with an MA in Paper Conservation (specialising in the care of Artworks on Paper) Heather has gained experience within a number of leading London institutions including The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Royal Collection at Windsor Castle, University College Special Collections and The Stanley Kubrick Archive.

Heather's professional development has extended to encompass work with the BFI National archive, The British Library and The National Archives.

Heather Murphy Conservation offers specialist treatment knowledge on a wide variety of paper based objects, as well as providing advice and solutions for the safe storage and future care of a wide variety of material.
​
The studio is able to offer advice on storage and housing of works and collections, including environmental conditions and monitoring as well as providing bespoke conservation mounting solutions for works and advising on further housing and framing requirements.
